Lutheran Ground

Lutheran Ground mobile intensive care units are staffed with licensed personnel who are specially trained to stabilize and treat critically ill or injured patients during transport from one hospital to another.

Lutheran Ground can be dispatched 24/7 when a patient cannot be transported by air, or if they are at a nearby facility and transport via ground is quicker. Our seven ambulances provide crew members with the same advanced care options found on the Lutheran Air helicopters including ventilators capable of BiPAP, invasive monitoring and the capability of transporting a neonatal isolette.

The Lutheran Ground fleet is staffed around the clock, 365 days a year. By strategically positioning units throughout our large coverage area in northeastern Indiana, Lutheran is able to provide a higher level of care at a moment’s notice.

Wherever you are in the region, we’re just minutes away.
