Sibshops
Lutheran Children’s Hospital and Easter Seals Arc offer fun workshops designed especially for brothers and sisters of children with disabilities or special concerns. The goal of Sibshops is to provide an opportunity to meet in a relaxed setting to discuss common joys and concerns, to find out how others handle similar situations and to learn more about the implications of their siblings’ special needs. Each Sibshop targets children ages 7 to 12 years old. Classes will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Aug. 20, Oct. 15, and Dec. 17 at Mad Anthonys Children’s Hope House on the Lutheran Hospital campus. The cost per class is $10 and it includes lunch. For registration forms and more information, call Tony at (260) 469-2777.
