Better Breathers Support Group to Meet at Lutheran Hospital in November

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Oct. 23, 2008) — Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation at Lutheran Hospital is hosting a Better Breathers Support Group meeting Wednesday, Nov. 12. The group meets bimonthly and covers such topics as medications, exercise, oxygen, home CPAP therapy and traveling with oxygen. The Nov. 12 meeting will take place at 10 a.m. in classrooms one and two, located in the lower level of Lutheran Hospital, 7950 W. Jefferson Blvd., near the cafeteria.

The featured topic for November is "How to Be a Winner as a COPD Patient Battling Midwest Winters." Vicky Lacy RRT, AE-C, American Lung Association, will present. Lacy will discuss tips on how to stay well over the upcoming winter months. She will also be answering questions. Refreshments will be served. Valet parking is available at the main entrance of the hospital.
