LHN Observes Diabetes Month with Free Screenings

Six regional facilities involved with efforts in November

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Oct. 15, 2008) — In recognition of American Diabetes Month in November, educators from the Lutheran Health Network will be spreading out across the region to offer free screenings and information at six convenient locations.

Free blood glucose screenings and opportunities to "Ask an Educator" will be available:

Nov. 5: St. Joseph Hospital, 700 Broadway, 7 - 10 a.m.

Nov. 11: Lutheran Hospital, 7950 W. Jefferson Blvd., 9 - 11 a.m.

Nov. 11: Bluffton Regional Medical Center, 303 S. Main St., 4th floor classroom, 6 - 7 p.m.

Nov. 15: Dupont Hospital, 2520 E. Dupont Road, 8 - 10 a.m.

Nov. 20: KCH Health and Wellness Center, Warsaw, 1500 Provident Dr., 6:30 - 8:30 a.m.

Nov. 20: Anthony Medical Center, 5717 S. Anthony Blvd., 8:30 - 10:30 a.m.
