Lutheran Children's Hospital Launches 2012 Kids dart. Drive smart. Safety Campaign

Child pedestrian safety awareness reminds all to stay alert while driving or walking

WHO: Lutheran Children’s Hospital kicks off Kids dart. Drive smart. campaign. The public is welcome to come to this Scott’s Food & Pharmacy location Tuesday to obtain a yard sign to promote child pedestrian safety awareness.

WHAT: Lutheran Children’s Hospital, Lutheran Hospital trauma services, Fort Wayne Fire Department, Fort Wayne Police Department

WHEN: 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 24, 2012

WHERE: Scott’s Food & Pharmacy
                 4120 N. Clinton St.

WHY: Find out how to get a free yard sign for your neighborhood. Just last year, 139 pedestrians were struck by cars in the area. Such injuries can be avoided and reminding drivers to stay alert is one way to encourage safe driving.
