Lutheran Cancer Center
The Lutheran Cancer Center provides comprehensive cancer care to the residents of northeastern Indiana and the surrounding communities. Accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer in May 2007 as a Community Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Program, the center provides a full range of diagnostic and treatment services in a compassionate yet high-tech environment.
The center's board-certified physician specialists and experienced and caring staff provide cancer care in the areas of radiation and medical oncology, surgery, pathology, radiology, social services, support services and rehabilitation. In addition, the center's physicians participate in clinical research.
The Lutheran Cancer Center is located at 7910 W. Jefferson Blvd. on the Lutheran Hospital campus.
The building, owned by the physicians of Fort Wayne Medical Oncology and Hematology, houses, under one roof, many of the services provided at the Lutheran Cancer Center. Other services provided in the facility include those offered by FWMOH, Indiana Surgical Specialists, Lutheran Children's Hospital Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, Lutheran Adult Chemotherapy Outpatient Clinic, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Tobacco Intervention Program and The Convalescent Shop. Radiation Oncology Associates is located across the lobby from the Lutheran Cancer Resource Center.
