About the Center
Having a sleep study is not much more complicated than falling asleep. Our sleep rooms are quiet, comfortable and free of distractions to promote sleep. Typically, we have patients come in the evening, but we offer both day and evening sleep sessions depending on your schedule.
You can bring your own pajamas and slippers and relax while we prepare you for your sleep study.
We'll wake you after eight hours and a few complete cycles have been recorded.
What is a sleep study center?
A sleep study center is a medical facility for diagnosing and treating patients with sleep-related disorders.
The sleep studies offered at Lutheran Hospital's Sleep Disorders Center are provided by professionals experienced in sleep-related disorders. Physician specialty consultants, who are certified in sleep medicine and experienced in all aspects of sleep disorders, interpret every sleep study.
If you are scheduled to receive a sleep study, you can expect to spend the night at our Center for a recording called a polysomnogram. Our Center has private, comfortable, hotel-like rooms in which your study will take place. Your records will be reviewed by our professional staff.
