NeuroSpine and Pain Surgery Center

After a great deal of planning and specialized development, the first surgeries were performed in the new NeuroSpine and Pain Surgery Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana, in January 2007. The Surgery Center, located on the campus of Lutheran Hospital, is owned by Lutheran Hospital; it serves patients throughout Northeast Indiana and Northwest Ohio.

NeuroSpine and Pain Surgery Center concentrates on neck and back surgery to treat low back pain, upper back pain, neck pain, muscle pain and neck pain, as well as offering pain management. There are 10 pre- and post-surgical rooms, six recovery beds, three surgical suites and one procedure room. The structure was built with utmost concern for patient and family privacy and support during recovery; if needed, overnight accommodations are available without hospital registration or charges.
