Family Shared Birth

Parents may have older children present for delivery with prior approval of the attending physician if the child is:

  • Six years old or older; and is accompanied by a support person (other than mother's coach) if under 14 years old
  • Participating in the Family Shared Birth Class (child's support person also attends)

Call the Parent Education office at (260) 435-7070 to schedule this class for family groups. The class lasts one to two hours, depending on the child's needs, and includes a tour.
