Heart failure, or HF, develops when the heart isn’t pumping enough blood to meet all of the body’s needs. This causes weakness, fatigue, shortness of breath, weight gain and swelling in the hands, feet, ankles and abdomen. Severe symptoms may lead to hospitalization.

Lutheran Hospital’s support group provides the skills and encouragement needed to help manage HF symptoms and live life to the fullest. Patients and caregivers are invited to:

  • Learn more about HF-related topics
  • Receive help with symptom management
  • Discuss HF with others who share similar experiences

Make a positive impact on your life.
