Second chances are very rare. Ask people who have experienced a heart attack or who have lost a loved one to a heart attack. Second chances are precious. CardioRiskcan give you a second chance – a chance to avoid a heart attack.
CardioRisk is as simple as laying down (fully clothed) on a scanner bed and passing through a doughnut-shaped device. As you pass through, a fast CT scanner produces images of your coronary arteries and/or lungs.
Armed with your scan results, your physician can make an accurate diagnosis and prescribe the most appropriate course of treatment if a potential problem is found.
No referral is needed to schedule a CardioRisk exam and it costs only $325 for the hospital technical charge. Many insurance companies cover CardioRisk, check with your plan administrator for details. We can help you file with your insurance company, but payment is expected at the time of service.
