This session will provide information about heart disease, heart healthy grocery shopping and heart healthy recipes with a cooking demonstration and tasting time. After the lesson, participants will have basic heart healthy knowledge, grocery shopping tips and easy recipes to take home.

This session is for anyone who would like to gain a better understanding of their diet and lifestyle changes to help prevent heart disease.

Registered Dietitians of Lutheran Hospital who specialize in the care and treatment of cardiac patients and their families will lead this session.
