The Lutheran Cancer Center provides comprehensive cancer care to the residents of northeastern Indiana and the surrounding communities. Accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer in May 2007 as a Community Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Program, the center provides a full range of diagnostic and treatment services in a compassionate yet high-tech environment. The center's board-certified physician specialists and experienced and caring staff provide cancer care in the areas of radiation and medical oncology, surgery, pathology, radiology, social services, support services and rehabilitation. In addition, the center's physicians participate in clinical research.
The Lutheran Cancer Resource Center, a free resource for patients dealing with a cancer diagnosis and their families is also part of the Lutheran Cancer Center. The resource center's oncology-certified nurses help patients navigate the complexities of the cancer journey by providing education and support and connecting patients to community resources.
The Lutheran Cancer Center is located at 7910 W. Jefferson Blvd. on the Lutheran Hospital campus.
