Interventional cardiology at Lutheran Hospital is our commitment to treating cardiac emergencies quickly, no matter what resources are required. Standing behind this pledge are a lot of highly skilled, dedicated professionals who take this responsibility seriously.
When a person experiences chest pain or other symptoms of a heart attack, Lutheran Hospital is ready to help them 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Most hospitals can say that, but what sets us apart is what we can do at two o'clock in the morning.
Our cardiac cath lab is staffed and ready to go. Cardiologists are on-hand, ready to care for and treat any condition. If you experience symptoms of a heart attack you will be seen first in the emergency room. The cardiologist will immediately evaluate your condition and if a cardiac event is suspected, you'll be moved to the cath lab for a cardiac catheterization. If necessary, you may be treated in the cath lab.
Your diagnosis will be certain and an immediate course of action will be implemented.
